Missions

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Local

If you have a heart for people from different cultures and countries, then this is a wonderful place to engage. Throughout the week volunteers at UBC offer their time to teach English to minority language speakers in the Fort Worth area. We have students from all over the world who are at varying levels of English proficiency. Whether you love teaching or just building friendships, there are numerous ways you can get involved. Our ESL efforts are an intentional way for us to not only make meaningful relationships but to live out Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations.

Local Missions

A healthy approach to missions always focuses on the local community. At UBC we have many exciting ways to engage the community. Whether it is teaching a particular skill, meeting a felt need or sharing the hope of the gospel through teaching and evangelism, there are many chances to fulfill God’s call to make disciples.  Consider these areas below and let us know all that interest you.
