Youth

Grow, Grow, Go

At UBC, our youth (7th - 12th grade) come together from various communities and walks of life. We meet various times throughout the week and come together often for different nights of worship, service and fellowship.

We seek to be a community that:
Grows in God – finding our hope, refuge and foundation in the Lord
Grows as Community – learning how the many parts of the body of Christ work together
Goes into the World – reaching and serving the lost in His name

Sunday Connect

Every Sunday, our youth meet at 9:00 AM in Room 300 to worship, hangout and study the Bible together. Donuts are provided!

Safehouse on Wednesday Nights

Every Wednesday, our youth meet for a time of fellowship, accountability and fun! During the school year we meet in Room 300, and during the summer we meet in members' homes.

Meet Jason Simon, Minister to Students

Dear UBC,

My name is Jason Simon, I was born and raised in Oklahoma, which I am very proud of! I graduated from a small town high school and went on to attend Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. It is there that I met the love of my life and my best friend, Ashley. We both have education degrees from OSU and a marriage license from Texas. We have one son, Davis Alexander, who was born in December of 2016 here in Fort Worth. Our hobbies include trail running, coffee drinking, Bible journaling and getting lost.

Although I am a high school teacher by trade, I am passionate about engaging students of all ages. My family and I felt a strong call to the metroplex in 2016 and moved down as soon as we could – before Ashley had a job lined out, in fact. In the years that we have been here, we have sought to serve this community in many different ways. We see this position with UBC as a perfect extension of that. We pray continually that the Lord will burden our hearts for what burdens His. This has led us to see students not as the “church of tomorrow” as they are often called, but the church of today.

Our heart’s desire is for our family to join with yours at UBC in bringing God glory through His bride, the Church, here at UBC, in our schools and across our campuses, throughout the surrounding community, and ultimately to the ends of the earth.
