Volunteer Opportunities

UBC is looking for volunteers to help us serve our neighbors. Please find some of our volunteer opportunities below.

FOOD Distribution

Each week a team volunteers works to sort and deliver groceries to families in need. If you would like to serve in this area as a food sorter, driver or substitute, please let us know by contacting Jerimiah by email here

Here are a few key instructions you might want to know:
Our food sorters are asked to pack 25 bags each week on Monday mornings.

Our food deliverers are to pick up the bags at the Mission House at any point on Wednesday.  There are currently four different routes.  Our team will let you know which route is needed for that given week.  For the detailed car assignments, click here.  For a map of Morngingside apartments, click here.  We alternate between Morningside Apartments/Call-Ins and Seminary Hills Park families each week.

Please don't hesitate to contact Jerimiah by email here if you have any questions.  Thanks again for serving.

Care Portal

CarePortal is an online platform that brings the needs of hurting children and families in your community to your attention. Caseworkers uncover the needs. CarePortal makes local churches aware, giving them a real-time opportunity to respond. Please continue to check for needs here as the days unfold, as many families may be struggling to meet the needs of their children.

Game day is FUN! Help us welcome neighbors and football fans by volunteering with us for one or more games. It's best to have 8-10 volunteers for each game. Invite your friends or DGroups to come volunteer with you!
