"Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name." Psalm 103:1
Championing the church’s voice
At UBC, the primary goal of our Worship Ministry is to champion the church to respond to the Gospel both corporately and individually. We use music to focus our hearts and unify our voices to declare the gospel of Christ every week.
More than just singing
At UBC, we bring our children, youth, adults and senior adults together for corporate worship. Our worship services are Gospel-centered. They are not about performing for others. When we worship, we want to be passionate, affectionate worshippers who engage our emotions in a way that is informed by God’s word and inspired by his love.
For us, worship is about more than just music and singing. Our hearts and connecting deeply with God’s great love and his Word. It’s not about a specific type of music or style of singing. In Romans 12:1, the Apostle Paul urges us in view of God’s mercy, “to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” (ESV)
