The past few years, one of the things on my bucket list has been to see the giant sequoia trees at the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. These majestic trees can grow 350 feet tall. They are massively huge and strong. Yet their strength isn't from deep roots. Their strength comes from the many trees around them. “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1  On the wall in my office, you will find this verse, handwritten by my granddaughter Sawyer.
